Coeur d'Alene Police looking for driver involved in pedestrian crash

The person hit in the crash had significant injuries after they were hit.

COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho — Coeur d'Alene Police Department (CAPD) is looking for a driver who drove away from a pedestrian crash.

According to CAPD, the driver of a white Honda Pilot suddenly turned in front of a blue Jeep. The Jeep then hit a person walking on the sidewalk, causing significant injuries. 

CAPD said the driver was driving northbound on 4th Street at the time of the incident. The driver of the Honda Pilot didn't stop after the incident but did drive near the parking lot where it happened.

Anyone with information on the crash, the driver or the white Honda Pilot is asked to call the Coeur d'Alene Police Department at (208) 769-2320.
