City of Spokane invites residents to speak at two Fair Housing Plan info meetings

Officials said the purpose of these meetings is to identify fair housing issues and barriers to equal opportunity access to housing.

SPOKANE, Wash. — The City of Spokane will be hosting a Fair Housing Plan meeting on Tuesday, April 2 and Thursday, April 4 to give residents a chance to voice their opinions on the state of housing in Spokane.

Tuesday's meeting will take place from 6-7:30 p.m. at the NE Community Center on 4001 N. Cook Street while Thursday's meeting will be held from 12-1:30 p.m. at The Hive on 2904 E. Sprague Avenue.

City officials said the purpose of these meetings is to identify fair housing issues and barriers to equal opportunity access to housing while identifying goals to overcome those barriers.
