SPOKANE, Wash. — Buffalo Exchange, New and Recycled Fashion is celebrating 50 years with a special weekend-long pop-up shop at all of their store locations on March 16 and 17.

They first opened their doors in 1974 with their first shop in Tucson, Ariz. Over the past 50 years, they have grown to over 40 locations all across the US, including in Downtown Spokane, right off West Main Ave.

“Buffalo turning 50 means so much to me,” says Buffalo Exchange CEO Rebecca Block. “My parents started this business when I was just 9. My dad always had a goal Buffalo Exchange would reach 100 years — I’m beyond proud of them and of all of us for making it to this milestone. I’m excited to celebrate with all of our customers in the best way we know how – with clothing, style and all the fashion in between.”

According to Buffalo Exchange’s website, each location will be putting on the event differently, some may include raffles, giveaways, food and more. Plus, one person will have a chance to win a $1,000 shopping spree if they sell to any Buffalo.
