CLARK FORK, Idaho — According to the City of Clark Fork Facebook page, the city is no longer under a boil order.

The City of Clark Fork posted a notice to their Facebook page on August 20 notifying residents of a boil order.

They say in the release that a drop in water pressure due to a broken line could allow contamination to enter the distribution system through backflow, backpressure or back-siphonage.

They lifted the initial boil order on August 26 but reissued the order on August 27 due to a malfunction after an emergency water shut-off.

On August 29, around 12 p.m., they lifted all boil orders.

The city says there are scheduled water system improvements throughout the month of September and into October.

The map below shows the dates and the locations of the affected areas.
