WASHINGTON COUNTY, Oregon -- The Washington County Sheriff's Office says the body found in the Snake River is that of a man who ran from police three weeks ago.
The man identified as Danny Havens, lead police on a chase from Fruitland into Oregon before jumping into the river.
A search of the area and down river with boats during the morning hours failed to locate Havens.
Police say he drowned after jumping into the water.
