SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Fire Department is responding to an apartment complex fire in the Hillyard neighborhood.
The reported fire is on North Regal Street near East Garland Road and East Rich Road, just east of Shaw Middle School.
KREM 2 photojournalist Dave Somers reports that several units appear to be damaged as a result of the fire.
KREM S's Amanda Roley reports the eastern most unit caught on fire. The fire department told Roley the fire started in the kitchen and extended to the living room. Once it reached the next door unit, the fire department was able to the put out the fire.
Everyone was evacuated from the building. A water main break also broke at the complex.
Information is limited at this time. KREM 2 is at the scene right now looking to get more information.
