WORLEY, Idaho — A 31-year-old man was killed in a two-car crash Friday afternoon in Kootenai County.
Idaho State Police (ISP) said the crash happened at around 12:30 p.m. Friday afternoon on eastbound Highway 58 near Worley, Idaho.
According to ISP, a white Honda CRV was heading west on Highway 58 when it drove left of center and hit a blue Chrysler driving eastbound head-on.
ISP said the driver, a 31-year-old man from Aberdeen, Washington, was not wearing his seatbelt and died from his injuries at the scene.
The four people in the Chrysler, three young adults from Spokane Valley and one young adult from Moscow, were taken to the hospital. ISP said everyone in the Chrysler was wearing a seatbelt.
ISP said Highway 58 was closed in both directions for around 3.5 hours. Next of kin has been notified, and this is an ongoing investigation.
