BLANCHARD, Idaho — Idaho State Police (ISP) is investigating a crash that left two dead on Saturday night around 9 p.m. on State Highway 41 near Blanchard.
ISP says a pickup truck entered the opposite lane while attempting to pass a slow-moving vehicle and hit a child driving a dirt bike.
ISP says the child was driving without headlights.
Both the driver of the truck and the child on the dirt bike were killed.
ISP says State Highway 41 was blocked for roughly 5 hours, but is reopen as of Sunday, August 11.
