MOSES LAKE, Wash. — The Moses Lake School District announced they are facing a bus driver shortage that will disrupt bus routes.
In a Facebook post the district said that each morning transportation will assess the situation and notify parents before 5:30 a.m. if their child’s route is cancelled for the day. Cancellations are expected to impact both morning and afternoon routes.
The district says that special education routes will not be impacted by these cancellations.
The district says they continue to seek bus drivers and substitutes and anyone interested can apply here.
Cancellations will also be posted on the district website.
