SPOKANE, Wash. — Two people are now in the hospital following a stabbing in West Central Spokane Thursday night.
According to the Spokane Police Department, officers responded to a stabbing involving two roommates on West Sharp Avenue near North A Street.
Police said the two roommates were taken to the hospital for injuries. SPD said one of the roommates was taken to the hospital for life-threatening injuries, while the other was taken to the hospital for serious injuries.
SPD's Major Crimes Unit is on the scene right now investigating. SPD is asking people to avoid the area as law enforcement investigates.
