U.S. Marshals Service arrests three fugitives, including one from Spokane Valley

The three people arrested had previous felony convictions.

SPOKANE, Wash. — The U.S. Marshals Service said they found and arrested three fugitives with previous sex offense convictions.

Here are the three people the U.S. Marshals Service arrested.

David McCuistion

The U.S. Marshals Service arrested McCuistion for failure to register as a sex offender. The U.S. Marshals Service said the Spokane Valley man was previously convicted of third-degree attempted indecent liberties of child and rape.

William Shawl

Shawl, who is from Riverside, Washington, was arrested on an outstanding federal escape warrant, according to the U.S. Marshals Service. The U.S. Marshals Service said Shawl was previously convicted of escape, luring of a minor person with developmental disability, abusive sexual contact with a person who is less than 12 years old and failure to register as a sex offender.

Barry Collins

The U.S. Marshals Service said Collins, who is from Tonasket, Washington, was arrested for escape from community custody and failure to comply with the Department of Corrections conditions of supervision. The U.S. Marshals Service said Collins is supervised for failure to register as a sex offender, and he was previously convicted of third-degree child rape, attempting to elude, possession of controlled substances, residential burglary, second-degree burglary and theft of a firearm.

The U.S. Marshals Service said the Spokane County Sheriff's Office, Washington State Department of Corrections, the Omak Police Department, and the United States Border Patrol assisted in these arrests.
