Two shot, one hit by car following fight in northeast Spokane

Two men were shot and a third was hit by a car, police said.

SPOKANE, Wash. — Three people were injured Wednesday afternoon following an argument in an alley in northeast Spokane.

In a press release, Spokane Police Officer John O’Brien said police were called to the area of the 5400 block of North Regal Street for an altercation involving several people. It was reported that one man was hit by a car before someone started shooting.

O’Brien said two men were hit by gunfire. He said one left the area before police got there and was taken to the hospital. The other shooting victim was located by police and taken to the hospital. Both have non-life threatening injuries.

Major Crimes Detectives are investigating. No arrests have been made.
