SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — Detectives are asking for the public's help in identifying a man they believe stole thousands of dollars worth of audio equipment from a Spokane Valley church.
According to the Spokane Valley Police Department (SVPD), deputies responded to a reported burglary at Valley Chapel Church just before 10 a.m. on March 23. The caller told dispatchers the church had been burglarized and robbed of approximately $5,000 in audio and music equipment. Black tape was also placed over some of the security cameras and one of the windows, but police said the suspect entered the church through "an unsecured door."
Police believe the burglary happened sometime during the week of March 17.
