1 arrested following shooting in northwest Spokane

Spokane police says one person was shot but did not give details about their condition.

SPOKANE, Wash. — Police arrested one person following a shooting in northwest Spokane on Tuesday.

According to the Spokane Police Department (SPD), a shooting took place on West Francis Avenue on Tuesday afternoon. One person was shot and another was arrested.

The condition of the person who was shot is not known at this time. Police also haven't released the identity of the person who was arrested.

SPD said more information about the shooting will be released later Tuesday.
