SPOKANE, Wash.—Spokane law enforcement is searching for a 47-year-old man they consider armed and dangerous after investigating a shooting Thursday.
Spokane Police Department officials said Christopher Felch fired a firearm at two men at an apartment complex in West Central Spokane on Broadway.
One man was hit in the foot, but there were no other injuries reported, according to SPD officials.
Reports said Felch was a convicted felon with a history of violent behavior. He was involved in an officer involved shooting in 2004, according to SPD officials. At that time, police said Felch tried to assault his girlfriend's brother at a family party. Felch later grabbed a hand gun and drove off in his pick up truck. When officers finally stopped Felch at Maple and Nora, police said he pointed the gun at officers. Police said one officer fired three to five shots at Felch, and was later taken to the hospital. KREM 2 has been unable to confirm what, if any charges Felch faced after that, and if he served any time in custody.
SPD authorities said that if anyone sees Felch they should call 911 immediately.
