Spokane Police Department investigating homicide in Logan neighborhood

Spokane Police said no suspects have been arrested at this time.

SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Police Department (SPD) said they are investigating a homicide that took place in the Logan neighborhood Sunday morning.

According to SPD, officers were called to a home at North Hamilton Street near East Jackson Avenue for reports of gunshots in the area.

As officers were on their way to the home, SPD said another caller told them that he found some dead in the house. Officers eventually found a dead woman.

SPD said the Major Crimes Unit responded and later determined that the woman's death was a homicide.

SPD is asking anyone who may have information on what happened to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233 reference case# 2024-20145720.

Police said no suspects have been arrested at this time. The name and cause of death of the woman will be released at a later time by the Spokane County Medical Examiner.
