SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — Deputies with the Spokane County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect accused of robbing the First Interstate Bank on 57th Ave.
According to deputies, the robbery occurred on Oct. 13 around 4:45 p.m. The suspect, wearing a hat and mask, reportedly walked up to the bank teller and handed her a note demanding she put the money in the draw-string bag he brought with him.
Fearing for her safety, the teller complied. It's unknown how much money was stolen. Deputies describe the suspect as a white man between the ages of 25 and 45 with shoulder-length dark hair. He was also seen wearing a gray/light green stocking cap, dark clothing, a mask and black gloves. The suspect was last seen riding a dark-colored bicycle.
Anyone with information on the robbery or the suspect's whereabouts is advised to call Major Crimes at (509) 477-2233 and reference case number 10155028.
