Spokane County Sheriff's Office seeks help identifying suspect accused of robbing bank on South Hill

The suspect reportedly robbed the First Interstate Bank on 57th Ave. on Oct. 13. Deputies say he was last seen riding a dark-colored bicycle.

SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — Deputies with the Spokane County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect accused of robbing the First Interstate Bank on 57th Ave.

According to deputies, the robbery occurred on Oct. 13 around 4:45 p.m. The suspect, wearing a hat and mask, reportedly walked up to the bank teller and handed her a note demanding she put the money in the draw-string bag he brought with him.

Fearing for her safety, the teller complied. It's unknown how much money was stolen. Deputies describe the suspect as a white man between the ages of 25 and 45 with shoulder-length dark hair. He was also seen wearing a gray/light green stocking cap, dark clothing, a mask and black gloves. The suspect was last seen riding a dark-colored bicycle.

Anyone with information on the robbery or the suspect's whereabouts is advised to call Major Crimes at (509) 477-2233 and reference case number 10155028.
