SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — Deputies with the Spokane County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) arrested a second man in connection to a Spokane Valley shooting that happened nearly a year ago.
According to SCSO, deputies arrested 48-year-old Duane R. Parks for helping the suspect in a deadly Spokane Valley shooting. Major Crimes Detectives took custody of Parks from Pierce County Jail and booked him into Spokane County Jail on Wednesday, January 24.
The suspect's bond is set at $10,000. Pierce County officials arrested Parks earlier for having a stolen gun, DUI, lying to law enforcement and second-degree murder.
Parks is allegedly connected to the shooting of Deshaun R. Crawford on Feb. 8, 2023. The other suspect, Darell Anthony Harris, was arrested by Puyallup police on Saturday, January 20, nearly a year after the fatal shooting.
According to SCSO, the investigation is active and ongoing. Additional charges could be added as the investigation continues.
