SPOKANE, Wash. — New court documents detailed a shooting in downtown Spokane that eventually led to the arrest of a man in North Carolina.

According to the court documents, officers with the Spokane Police Department were outside Globe Bar on Division and Main when several fights broke out in the area at around 1:45 a.m. Sunday, July 7.

After the fights were broken up, court documents say officers heard multiple gunshots south of where they were, and two white SUV-type vehicles were seen leaving the area following the gunshots.

Court documents also said officers learned that two people were shot in one of the SUVs. The people who were shot were taken to the hospital.

According to court documents, one witness said he was in a car with his cousin when the shooting happened, describing the suspected shooter as "a Black male with dreadlocks and wearing an orange shirt."

According to the court documents, video evidence from the Spokane Transit Authority showed the suspect driving eastbound in the westbound lanes looking to catch up with the other vehicle. The video also showed the suspect's car pulled into the path of the other vehicle, followed by a flash that is consistent with a gunshot before turning north onto Division.

Court documents revealed that body camera footage showed the suspect involved in the fight leading up to the shooting.

Court documents also revealed that officers found a car that matched the description identified in the STA video footage.

The U.S. Marshal's Service said Moses Adedeji was arrested at the Raleigh-Durham International Airport while returning from the United Kingdom. Adedeji was identified as a suspect on July 15 and was charged with two counts of attempted murder and was placed under a $1 million bond.

Adedeji will be brought back to Spokane to face charges.
