SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — Spokane County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) has found missing 11-year-old Zachary Reid. The sheriff's office said he is safe.
Deputies responded to the missing person's report on August 1, 2024.
Zachary's parents said he became upset after a disagreement earlier Thursday morning and left the home through his bedroom window, located northwest of West Cascade Way and North Division Street.
Deputies said the family members helped them search the area, but Zachary has not been located yet.
A localized Washington Emergency Alert (WEA) was issued, but he had not returned home, and his whereabouts are unknown.
His family said that he had not done anything like this before and that they were very worried about his safety.
Zachary B. Reid is described as an 11-year-old white male, approximately 5 feet tall and weighs around 100 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue tank top and black pants.
