HAYDEN, Idaho -- A man suspected of robbing a pharmacy in Hayden has turned himself in.

Detectives met Egan Logan, 39, at the Rathdrum Police Department Tuesday morning and interviewed him in regards to Monday night's robbery. Around 8:45 p.m., deputies say a man entered the Walgreens at 260 W. Honeysuckle Avenue, and asked for medicine.

The pharmacist told investigators she informed the man he would need a prescription. Deputies say he replied he didn't have one and told the pharmacist he was going to rob her. That is when deputies say the pharmacist handed over the medication, and the man put money on the counter before running out the door.

Egan Logan admitted he was the individual that had robbed the Walgreens Drug Store that evening. Logan was taken into custody and is currently being held at the Kootenai County Public Safety Building on charges of robbery and possession of a controlled substance. He is scheduled for his first appearance on March 10 at 2:00 p.m.
