SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane police major crimes detectives are investigating after a body was found at a north Spokane motel Friday afternoon.
Spokane Police Sergeant Terry Preuninger said officers responded to the Rodeway Inn at West Houston Avenue and North Division Street around noon.
He said an employee found the body and called police. Preuninger said what officers found resulted in them notifying major crimes detectives.
Major crimes is now conducting an investigation. Officers on scene said they were working on getting a search warrant.
Preuninger said they expect to send out an update later Friday afternoon.
