KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho — The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office (KCSO) is asking for your help finding a teenage boy who escaped the Kootenai County Juvenile Detention Center Friday evening.
The sheriff's office says they and the Coeur d'Alene Police Department were notified that two juveniles escaped the detention center at around 5:30 p.m. Friday evening.
KCSO said one of the juveniles who escaped was 15-year-old Caden J. Schreibeis. KCSO said Schreibeis is 5-feet-9-inches tall and weighs around 150 pounds. KCSO said he has medium-length brown hair and was last seen wearing a green shirt and blue sweatpants.
KCSO said they found the other juvenile near 4th Street and Gregory Lane by the Coeur d'Alene Police Department. KCSO said he was booked on injuring a jail facility, conspiracy to commit escape and escape and was arrested without further incident
KCSO said anyone with information on where Schreibeis might be is asked to call (208)446-1300.
