BOISE, Idaho — The Idaho Department of Fish and Game (IDFG) is asking for the public's help in finding who's responsible for dozens of ducks killed and left to waste in east Idaho.
On Wednesday, IDFG wrote in a news release that its conservation officers were informed of 43 ducks dumped outside Victor, Idaho, at the Upper Rainey Creek Road on Nov. 12. Officials believe the ducks were left the same day as they were unfrozen and still whole.
“The needless wasting of wildlife is illegal and unethical,” said Barry Cummings, a regional conservation officer. “Any little bit of information the public can provide us may help put the pieces of this puzzle together to solve this case.”
Anyone with information about the ducks, contact the Upper Snake Regional Office at 208-525-7290.
Officials said callers can remain anonymous.
