Idaho Department of Correction finds inmate who walked away from job site in Idaho Falls

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho — An Idaho Department of Correction (IDOC) inmate who walked away from his job site Monday morning has been found and is in custody.

The IDOC asked for the public's help finding an inmate who walked away from his job site Monday morning.

According to the IDOC, Kevin Pippin (IDOC #110078) was last seen at a job site in Idaho Falls at around 8 a.m. on Monday.

IDOC said Pippin is 6-foot-1 inches tall and weighs around 250 pounds with brown eyes and hair. IDOC said he was wearing black pants, a black hooded sweatshirt and a black coat.

IDOC said Pippin was previously convicted for burglary in Kootenai County, IDOC said he was also eligible for parole on November 6, 2025 and was scheduled to be sentenced on November 6, 2030.

Anyone with information on where Pippin might be was asked to call 911.
