SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — Spokane County Sheriff’s arrested a half-naked man who was trying to burglarize a golf course in North Spokane County.
According to Spokane Sheriff’s, they responded to reports of a burglary at 4:05 a.m. on Monday when they found a half-naked man lying on the ground inside the business. Sheriff’s say the man appeared to be highly intoxicated.
Sheriff’s say 55-year-old Jamey Christie was screaming while curled up in a ball on the floor. He was not wearing clothes from the waist down. Sheriff’s noted that a couple of bottles of liquor had been removed from the bar area and consumed.
Christie was arrested and charged with Second Degree Burglary, First Degree Malicious Mischief and Third Degree Theft.
Christie is alleged to have caused over $5,000 in damage to the clubhouse of the golf course.
Deputies say Christie was issued a trespass order in March 2024 for breaking into the same place.
