Convicted Spokane murderer sentenced to over 15 years in prison

Avondre Graham was convicted of second-degree murder in 2012 and was a suspect in several violent incidents dating back to 2022.

SPOKANE, Wash. — A Spokane convicted murderer has been sentenced to over 15 years in prison after reaching a plea agreement with the court on Thursday.

According to the Spokane Police Department (SPD), Avondre Graham was convicted of second-degree murder in 2012 and was a suspect in several violent incidents dating back to 2022.

Police said in January 2023, Graham was arrested in relation to an unprovoked assault in downtown. Following the investigation, SPD said Graham was charged with second-degree assault with sexual motivation and resisting arrest.

Police eventually linked Graham to the assault.

Graham pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree assault- domestic violence and one count of third-degree assault with sexual motivation.

Graham was sentenced to 190 months in prison. SPD said lifetime protection orders were issued in regard to the plea deal.
