MERIDIAN - An Ada County spokesperson says that a detention deputy was booked into the Ada County Jail on Saturday night on charges of domestic battery, false imprisonment, and felony attempted strangulation.
Meridian Police arrested 29-year-old Troy Eisele at a home in Meridian following an altercation between Eisele and a woman.
Ada County sheriff's spokesperson Andrea Dearden says Eisele has been working at the Ada County Jail as a detention deputy since March 29, 2015. They say he was immediately placed on administrative leave and an independent internal investigation has begun.
Ada County says the outcome of the investigation will determine Eisele's future employment status.
