Classic car show comes to Spokane County fairgrounds

A car show will take over the Spokane County Fair and Expo center this weekend.

The Goodguys 15th Great Northwest Nationals will post up at the center, with more than 1,500 vintage vehicles on display, according a press release.

There will also be exhibits, a swap meet, model car show, cars for sale, among other things.

There will also be a vintage drag racing event on Friday. Eliminations begin at 7 p.m.

“Nitro burning funny cars will square off in a Chicago-style feature racing event,” organizers wrote in a release.

Sunday is the “all American” day with an event open to all years American made and powered vehicles. Registration for that begins at 7 a.m. on Sunday.

Event hours are Saturday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. General admission is $17, and kids 7-12 $6. Kids 6 and under are FREE. Spectator parking is free. For additional event information, contact the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association at (925) 838-9876 or click here.
