COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho – The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team believe they may have recovered the body of a man who went missing on Lake Coeur d’Alene on February 13.
Larry Isenberg, 68, reportedly fell into the lake near Powderhorn Bay while in a boat with his wife, Lori.
Officials said they got a 911 call at 1:00 p.m. from a resident in the Sun-up Bay area near Worley, Idaho. The caller said they could see what they believed to be a body floating face down in the water. Deputies, detectives and the dive team showed up a short time later and recovered the body.
Isenberg's wife, Lori, was arrested on February 26 for 40 counts of forgery and one charge of grand theft. Her bond was sat at $75,000 and she has since been released from jail.
Official identification is pending an autopsy that will be conducted by the Spokane Medical Examiner’s Office with the Kootenai County Coroner’s Office.
Authorities said this is an active investigation and no further information will be released.
