An Alaska Airlines flight was diverted to the Spokane International Airport for a medical emergency on Wednesday night.
A spokesperson with Alaska Airlines said Flight 738 from Seattle to Kansas City made it to Wyoming before it was diverted to Spokane.
The plane was diverted due to a medical emergency because one of the captains was not feeling well, according to the spokesperson. He said the pilot was able to perform his duty but was advised by medical professionals to make the emergency landing. The pilot was later taken to a nearby hospital.
There were 64 passengers, two pilots and four flight attendants on the flight.
Passengers on the plane left the Spokane Airport around midnight with a pilot from Seattle at the helm.
The spokesperson said Alaska Airlines apologizes for the inconvenience.
