Today is May 9 or 5/09, which also happens to be the area code for the city (509).
In honor of 509 Day, the Downtown Spokane Partnership is working with several businesses to offer special 509-themed discounts.
The participating businesses and special offers include:
- Pinot's Palette: Us discount code "509DAY" to receive $5.09 off any public class. Discount code only valid on May 9.
- Whistle Punk Brewing Co.: A selection of beers will be available on tap for $5.09 each.
- Kershaw's Office Supply & Furniture: Office desk sale! Purchase the Element Titan SUM32 adjustable height table with 24 x 60 gray top for $509.00. Offer valid through May.
- Indaba Coffee: All day on May 9, all Indaba locations will be featuring a "509 Latte" for $5.09.
- Spokane Refillery: All bar soap (excluding goat milk) will be offered for $5.09 per bar, and a 5.09% discount will be given to laundry, hand, and dish soap refills. Additionally, lotus trolley bags will be $50.90.
- Brick West Brewing Co.: Two brews from BWBC, My Town All American Lager and the Get Right Pineapple Guava Gose will be available on tap for $5.09.
- Thomas Hammer Coffee: Visit the Thomas Hammer at 122 N Wall St. on May 9 and get any 20 oz. signature drink, hot or iced, for $5.09. Also get a 20oz. Lotus drink for $5.09.
- The Balcony: The Balcony is offering their Basic Website Design Package for just $509 (regular price $1,500) if you sign up on May 9. Visit their website for more details.
