SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — Construction on Pines Road/State Route 27 between Marietta Avenue and Mansfield Avenue in the Spokane Valley is scheduled to take place between August 5 and October 30.
Travelers can expect lane restrictions, reduced speed limits and traffic delays.
The construction is part of a private development project that will widen Pines Road by adding a center left turn lane. It will also upgrade entrances to parking lots on the east, and install new entrances to parking lots to the west.
Silver Spring Development is fully funding the road improvements. They are funding the construction in tandem with their project to construct a 12-building complex with approximately 300 housing units.
The new development, when complete, will be accessed from Robie Road to the north and Pines Road to the east.
