COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho — Looking for a new summer hangout? Coeur d'Alene Cider Company boasts the largest selection of ciders in the area, with over 150 options to choose from in their bottle shop.
The bar and restaurant is located at 14th Street and Sherman Avenue in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. They source their dozens of ciders both nationally and locally.
On top of a fully stocked bottle shop, the Coeur d'Alene Cider Company also has sharable foods, board games and a rotating row of taps that change as the company pops new kegs. The taproom has also become known for their cider slushies, which rotates flavors every week.
"We educate people a lot on Cider: different kinds, how they're made, where they're from," Ali Pope, Taproom Manager said.
During the pandemic shut-downs, Coeur d'Alene Cider Company lost its walk-in business. To get by, they started a growler delivery service. Pope said that delivery service kept their name in the community and helped them bounce back quickly.
Now they are back to regular business, opening Tuesday through Sunday at two or three in the afternoon. Looking forward, Pope said Coeur d'Alene Cider Company will be working on new events. They are hosting a corn-hole tournament August 14th.
