SPOKANE, Wash. — With Thanksgiving preparations underway, many people are searching for recipes and popular Thanksgiving dishes.
Everyone does Thanksgiving differently and Google released its annual Thanksgiving trend report to give people a look at what different states are searching for.
The report is divided into several categories: casserole, vegetables, potatoes and grains, stuffing and other.
In Washington and Idaho, the top search trend in the week leading up to Thanksgiving was green bean casserole.
Some of the more unique searches across the country include pineapple stuffing in New Mexico and ramen noodle salad in Nebraska.
Another map details what baked goods people in each state are searching for. The map is divided into the following categories: cake, cookies, pie, bread and other.
In Washington, Google reports that most people are searching for focaccia bread, while in Idaho people are searching for cranberry pie.
Some unique baked goods searches across the country include sourdough charcoal bread in Alaska and carrot cake cookies in Oklahoma.
Google also released popular national trends in the week leading up to Thanksgiving and reports that "deviled egg jello shots" is the top deviled egg-related search and search interest in "bloody mary deviled eggs" has more than doubled.
