Here are the holiday events happening in Spokane this Thanksgiving weekend

KREM2 has your Spokane itinerary for all things festive to follow your Thanksgiving Dinner.

SPOKANE, Wash. — There's nothing like officially kicking off the holidays on Thanksgiving weekend. From family time to shopping time, KREM2 has all the Spokane events you need to know about. 

Thanksgiving Day 

Bloomsday Road Runners Club Turkey Trot is at Manito Park Duck Pond, starting 9 a.m. BRRC will require a $20 donation to Second Harvest Inland Northwest in order to participate in the race. The race is a 5K.

Negative Split and the City of Spokane are putting on "Huffin for the Stuffin" Turkey Trot in downtown Spokane. The 10K starts at 9 a.m. and the 5K starts at 9:15 a.m.

The Salvation Army will serve a free Thanksgiving Day meal from 12-2 p.m. at The Salvation Army Building in Spokane. The meal is being offered to local homeless individuals, people with no family, or families that may not be able to afford a meal. Donations to support the meal are encouraged online.

Friday, November 29th

Mt. Spokane Ski and Snowboard Park is opening early. The park will be open between 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. The park is bringing back tubing this season at lodge one. 

Northwest Winterfest opens at 5 p.m. Visitors can walk among an indoor, illuminated lantern-light display in the warmth at the Spokane Fairgrounds. 

Saturday, November 30th

Riverfront Winter Market. From noon to 7 p.m. at the Spokane Pavilion discover a diverse range of unique goods from local businesses. 

Numerica Tree Lighting Celebration. Festivities will be between 4-7 p.m. with the tree lighting at 6 p.m. The City of Spokane's itinerary is below. Santa will also be there, along with horse carriage rides that are available earlier in the afternoon.

All weekend long

Stop by The Historic Davenport Hotel to check out the holiday decorations. This year the lobby tree, provided by New Leaf Nursery, stands at over 20 feet tall.
