SPOKANE, Wash. — Friday is National Doughnut Day and that means connoisseurs of the sweet treat are in for some great deals at Spokane area shops.
Donut Parade
Donut Parade reopened under new ownership in March and fans have been flocking to the shop ever since.
Donuts cost anywhere from $1.25 to $2.50. Several pre-selected dozen options start at $12, with at least four maple bars in each dozen.
On National Donut Day, Donut Parade is giving each customer a coupon for a free donut on their next visit.
Donut Parade is located at 2152 N. Hamilton St. in Spokane. Hours are 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Amy's Donuts
Amy's Donuts held its grand opening in Spokane Valley in November.
The shop is located at 11519 E. Sprague Ave., near HuHot Mongolian Grill. I serves up more than 120 creations, including donuts with cookies like Chips Ahoy and Nutter Butter, candy bars like Twix and Kit Kat, and cereals like Fruity Pebbles and Lucky Charms.
Amy's even offers donuts smothered in bacon bits and cotton candy.
On National Donut Day, Amy's is offering a free bag of blueberry cake holes for each customer while supplies last.
Amy's Donuts is located at 11519 E. Sprague Ave. in Spokane Valley. Hours are 5 a.m. to midnight.
Hello Sugar
Hello Sugar, has quickly become a Spokane staple, serving up delicious mini donuts alongside of Indaba coffee.
To celebrate National Donut Day, the shop is offering $5 dozens for all customers. Indaba Coffee Roasters will also offer all drinks for 50% off on Friday.
National Donut Day also comes amid Hello Sugar’s first birthday celebration. The shop is bringing back a carousel of customers’ favorite donuts from the first year in business, topped with a Birthday Cake donut.
Hello Sugar is located at 419 N. Nettleton St. in the Kendall Yards area. Hours are 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Retro Donuts
Retro Donuts is preparing thousands of donuts in anticipation of hundreds of walk-in customers on National Donut Day.
New donut flavors will debut on Friday, along with two free Retro Cake donuts for every dozen purchased at the shop.
Another added bonus: strawberry shortcake donuts!
Doors open at 6 a.m. but donut fanatics are encouraged to get there as early, as the shop does sell out on the holiday.
The shop is also raising money for the Salvation Army's "Backpacks for Kids" program.

Donuts to Go
Donuts to Go reopened last summer after tragedy struck the family.
Owner Pholnalie Leng grew up coming into the shop that his parents owned. He took over the business shortly after both his mother and father passed away.
To celebrate National Donut Day, Donuts to Go is giving away a blueberry donut to every customer while supplies last.
Donuts to Go is located at 7009 N. Division Street in Spokane. Hours are 5:30 to 11 a.m.
Krispy Kreme
Krsipy Kreme may have one of the best deals of all.
Donut lovers can grab any one of the shop's creations for free on Friday, as part of Krispy Kreme's goal to sell one million donuts on Friday.
Krispy Kreme's local location is at 15401 E. Indiana Ave. near the Spokane Valley Mall. Hours are 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
