He repairs and repurposes vintage baseball mitts (and makes new ones by hand) in his garage on a vintage commercial sewing machine, handcrafting each glove stitch by stitch.
Despite baseball being our national pastime, American-made baseball gloves are rare - even popular U.S. brands outsource their manufacturing.
Each Mack Provisions glove has more than 20 parts, takes 4 to 5 hours to make and contains countless catches.
The man who makes them says he knows each custom glove that come out of his shop like back of his hand.
