SPOKANE, Wash. — The Inland Northwest is only three days away from the annual Spokane International Film Festival (SpIFF). Starting February 9, the festival will highlight more than 40 different films with a variety of styles.
The “world-class films” span from documentaries, narratives, animation and more.
“These are the very best features, documentaries, and shorts that have been made around the world during the past year but have not yet been commercially released," SpIFF organizers wrote.
The festival will host film screenings, as well as parties and other events that will allow the public to interact with the filmmakers.
Festival passes are all sold out but film-enthusiasts can still buy tickets for individual events and films.

There is an opening night celebration at the Bing Crosby Theater starting at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 9. You don’t need a ticket to attend this event.
All of the film screenings will take place at the Magic Lantern Theatre in downtown Spokane.
The last screening of the festival will be Friday, Feb. 16 with a screening of Les Filles du Roi at 8 a.m.
The closing party and awards ceremony will be on the second to last day of the festival, Feb. 15, at the Magic Lantern Theatre starting at 8:30 p.m.
