SPOKANE, Wash. — Fourth of July is on Thursday and that means people are looking for ways to celebrate America's birthday.
Multiple areas around the Inland Northwest are hosting celebrations for the Fourth – complete with fireworks displays.
Below is a comprehensive list of places where you can celebrate and enjoy Fourth of July fireworks in the Spokane area and Coeur d'Alene.
Riverfront Park is hosting a Fourth of July celebration beginning at 11 a.m. with a fireworks show planned for 10 p.m.
Activities at the celebration include musical acts and other entertainment, craft and food vendors, and a beverage garden by No-Li Brewhouse at the Forestry Shelter on north Havermale Island.
The Looff Carousel and rollerskating at the Skate Ribbon will also be open for the holiday.

For the first time in nearly two decades, Northern Quest Resort & Casino is hosting a Fourth of July fireworks show.
The celebration ahead of the display begins at 4:30 p.m. in the Northern Quest outdoor summer concert venue, with music, activities like bouncy house, an air slide and face painting for the kids, concessions, and a beer garden.
Organizers say the fireworks display, which is scheduled for 10 p.m., will be the largest show between Seattle and Billings, Montana.
Liberty Lake is hosting a Fourth of July celebration and fireworks display of its own.
Live music begins at 6 p.m. at the pavilion, followed by fireworks launched from The Diamonds baseball outfields at about 10 p.m.
Organizers say the fireworks will be visible throughout the city.
Note: The sale and use of amateur fireworks is illegal in Spokane, Spokane Valley, Cheney, Millwood, Liberty Lake and unincorporated areas of Spokane County. Illegal possession or use of fireworks in those areas can result in a $536 fine for each violation, in addition to fines and court costs.
Coeur d’Alene is hosting festivities from morning until night.
The city’s Fourth of July Parade begins at 10 a.m. on Sherman Avenue. Afterward, enjoy live music and street food at Coeur d’Alene City Park until 7 p.m.
If you want to be fancy on the Fourth, enjoy a truly all-American steak dinner, served picnic-style on the Coeur d’Alene Resort’s front lawn. The buffet runs from 7 to 9 p.m. with a no-host bar available.
Live entertainment will be provided by Smash Hit Carnival from 8 to 10 p.m.
If you want to enjoy the fireworks show from a boat, book a cruise for your family. The two-hour boat cruise departs from Independence Point at 8 p.m.
If you are solely interested in the fireworks show, head to the city’s lakefront for a display scheduled at about 9:30 p.m. The show will last about 20 minutes.
The Coeur d’Alene Resort parking garage will open for public parking at $30 for the whole day.
Parking on Tuesday at Independence Point is typically $3 an hour. On the Fourth of July, that will increase to $20 for the day.
