SPOKANE, Wash. — The “hyperliterate folk-rock band,” the Decemberists, is coming to the Spokane Pavilion Saturday, July 27.
According to the Pavilion's website, “For over 20 years the Decemberists have been one of the most original, daring, and thrilling American rock bands. Founded in the year 2000 when singer, songwriter, and guitarist Colin Meloy moved from Montana to Portland, Oregon and met bassist Nate Query, keyboardist Jenny Conlee, and guitarist Chris Funk.”
Tickets go on sale on Feb. 9 at 10 a.m. and prices span from $49.95 to $55.

The rock band will have the Ratboys, an American indie rock band from Chicago Illinois, opening the concert.
The doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the show will start at 7 p.m.
The Decemberists have partnered with the PLUS1 nonprofit so that $1 per ticket will go to support, “organizations working for equity, access, and dignity for all.”
