SPOKANE, Wash. — Ann Wilson, the lead singer of the band Heart, recently announced that she was diagnosed with cancer.

As a result of Wilson's cancer diagnosis, the band is postponing its Royal Flush Tour, including its scheduled performance at the Spokane Arena on December 5, 2024.

In a post to social media Tuesday morning, Spokane Arena said that fans are encouraged to hold onto their tickets, as they will be honored for the rescheduled dates for the concert.

Spokane Arena also said in the post that more information will be announced in the coming weeks.

In a statement on Tuesday, Wilson said she had surgery to remove a cancerous growth and is recovering.

“To the ticket buyers, I really do wish we could do these gigs. Please know that I absolutely plan to be back on stage in 2025,” Wilson said in the statement. “My team is getting those details sorted & we’ll let you know the plan as soon as we can.”
