SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane's Sydney Sweeney stepped onto the late night stage last night giving host Jimmy Fallon a recognizable homage to her hometown. Sweeney presented Fallon with an autographed Gonzaga University men's basketball.
"The last time I was here we talked about my hometown, Spokane, and you were saying you were a big fan of Gonzaga," Sweeney said. "So, I brought you something."
The Emmy nominated star brought out a picturesque gift box with a red bow and handed it to Fallon. "Are you kidding me?" asked Fallon. Fallon has a running joke regarding the University's men's basketball program, in 2022 Fallon picked Gonzaga to take number one spot in March Madness.
When the late night host asked Sweeney how she pulled the big surprise off she joked, "I had some guys slide into my dms." Sweeney went on to promote her new movie coming out Dec. 22, 'Anyone but You.'
