Spokane native, SNL alum Julia Sweeney to film comedy special at Fox Theater

SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane native and former Saturday Night Live cast member Julia Sweeney will film her upcoming comedy special "Julia Sweeney: Older & Wilder" at Spokane's Fox Theater.

According to Fox Theater spokesperson Alison Highberger, Sweeney will be filming the special on April 2 and 3.

Reserved seats cost $25 and are available at The Fox Theater website and box office, while 500 general admission tickets are available for free on Sweeney's website.

Sweeney was on SNL from 1990 to 1994, and has also stared in "Stuart Little," "Father of the Pride," and currently co-stars in Hulu's "Shrill" and Showtime's "Work in Progress."

Sweeney is well-known for playing Pat on SNL.
