SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane County Library District (SCLD) is ringing in the new year with upcoming community events in January. SCLD organized events to help people of all ages kickstart their 2024. Whether learning a new skill or building community, SCLD is bringing events that interest people of all ages.
SCLD posted future events scheduled on the calendar here.
One of the events included is a Lego Stop-Motion Movie Screening and Celebration. This event promotes STEM for kids in Spokane County and encourages kids to create their own LEGO video submissions.
SCLD also has events planned for adults. These range from Pruning & Planting Fruit Trees to the library's New Year Self-Care Retreat.
SCLD will also host New York Times Bestselling Author Victoria Aveyard, writer of the young adult Realm Breaker Series.
