AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. — Smash Mouth is coming to Airway Heights on November 23.

The band, known for their late ‘90s chart-topping hits, “Walkin’ on the Sun” and “All-Star," will bring their newest releases to the Spokane Tribe Resort & Casino as the last stop on their "Ride On" tour.

The band released the new rock tune "Ride On" in April 2024 and a cover of "Sunshine Day" in July.

"Sunshine Day" is originally a classic hit from the Brady Bunch featuring Barry Williams.

Smash Mouth member and bass player Paul DeLisle said in a press release that the cover was a thrill and an honor to record.

“In our version, when Barry Williams comes in on the second verse, my spirit soars and I just want to jump up and shout! I love it so much," said DeLisle. "Barry Williams rules and I am the number one Brady fan in the world."

Between 1997 and 2002, Smash Mouth notched six Top 20 hits, from their debut ska-punk-influenced Interscope album, Fush Yu Mang, which went double-platinum thanks to “Walkin’ on the Sun” and subsequent singles “The Fonz” and a cover of War’s “Why Can’t We Be Friends,” which was featured in the 1998 Kevin Bacon film, Wild Things.

The band’s second album, the triple-platinum Astro Lounge, released in 1999, produced the hit single “All Star,” whose inclusion on the Shrek soundtrack (along with their cover of the Monkees’ and Neil Diamond’s “I’m a Believer”) has led the band to DJ at numerous “Shrek raves” over the years and gained them over one billion streams on Spotify.

Smash Mouth has toured with U2, Lenny Kravitz, KISS and NSYNC and has collaborated with a variety of show business legends over the years.

Tickets to the show in Airway Heights are $30. General admission is standing-room only.
