  • Sunday tickets: $38
  • Full weekend tickets: $68

Specific camping sites cannot be reserved, but passes will guarantee a site. Otherwise, camping is first-come-first-served.

On Friday, the event kicks off with an open mic performance at 4 p.m. Those interested in performing can sign up at the front gates after 12 p.m. on Friday.

After the open mic, four bands will perform. The final performance of the day begins at 9:15 p.m.

On Saturday morning workshops will be held until 12 p.m. These include guitar, beginner mandolin and songwriting workshops.

Saturday afternoon is the most filled day of performances, beginning with the Blue Waters Youth Camp performance at 12:30 p.m. and other bands performing all afternoon until after 9 p.m.

The youth camp is a two-day workshop camp offered to youth under 20 years old who already play or want to learn any of the traditional bluegrass instruments.

The camp runs on Friday and Saturday mornings and costs $40 per participant, which includes lunch on both days. More information and registration for the camp can be found here.

On Sunday morning, two more workshops will be held. These include fiddle and intermediate mandolin workshops, and closing off with a meet and greet with the band “New Dangerfield!”

Sunday music performances end earlier in the day, with only four performances, closing out the festival at 3:30 p.m.

For more information on the bands performing, visit the Blue Waters Bluegrass Festival website.

There will also be arts and food vendors set up during the weekend. The vendors will be located outside the festival fence line, so no festival tickets are required to shop.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets, picnic food and swimming suits to make the most of the waterfront festival.

Pets are not allowed within the festival grounds but are allowed in the park and within camping sites.
