SPOKANE, Wash. — Fans of The Doobie Brothers can listen to the music at the Spokane Arena next year.
The band is bringing its 50th anniversary tour to the Lilac City on Tuesday, Sept. 8. Four-time GRAMMY Award winners and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominees Tom Johnston, Michael McDonald, Pat Simmons and John McFee are touring together for the first time in 25 years.
The Dirty Dozen Brass Band will join them on tour.
Simmons said fans can expect to hear all of the band’s hits, deep cuts and new material on the tour.
“I know these will be very special performances,” Simmons added.
The Doobie Brothers have had five top-10 singles, 16 top-40 hits, three multi-platinum albums, seven platinum albums and 14 gold albums. Fans who attend the tour can expect to hear a wide range of hits, including “Listen To The Music,” “Takin’ It To The Streets,” “Long Train Running,” “Black Water,” “What A Fool Believes,” and more.
Tickets for the show go on sale Friday, Dec. 6 at 10 a.m. at the Spokane Arena Box Office, all TicketsWest outlets or by calling 800-325-SEAT.
The arena has announced a star-studded lineup for 2020 throughout the last few months.
Cher is headed to the venue in May 2020. Miranda, Lambert, Blake Shelton, and Korn with Breaking Benjamin are also slated to play in Spokane.
