Regan Gallo is starting her career with KREM2 NEWS after completing her master's degree from Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. At Cronkite, she was a broadcast reporter, anchor and weather host both for Cronkite News and Arizona PBS. Regan reported on various issues, most notably the border and fentanyl crises. Regan's favorite experience with Cronkite was traveling to the 2024 Republican National Convention in Milwaukee to report on the Arizona delegation.
While in Arizona, Regan also interned for Gray Media Group's Arizona's Family CBS.
Regan is from Puyallup, Washington, and is a University of Washington-Seattle Husky alum! In 2022, Regan won Miss Washington 2022 and went on to compete for Miss America 2023. It was the scholarship dollars she received from the Miss Washington and Miss America programs that allowed her to pursue her master's degree in journalism.
Regan is excited to be back in Washington and to make Spokane her home!
