SPOKANE, Wash. — Update (May 31): Crews have let KREM 2 know they are in the final stages of installation with hopes that the project will soon finish. Thank you for your patience and we apologize for any inconvenience.

KREM 2 is currently installing a new antenna and transmission line on the main television tower in Spokane. The target date for completion of this project is mid-June. For the safety of the crews working on the tower, there will be intermittent over-the-air outages throughout June for KREM and KSKN TV.

These outages will affect the following:

  • KREM TV over-the-air viewers, along with some cable companies in outlying areas.
  • KSKN TV over-the-air viewers, and DISH Network viewers.

The replacement was expected to be complete by May 13. However, weather conditions and shipping delays have extended the timeline. Crews are unable to work when there is high winds and rain, and several parts needed to complete the replacement were delayed in arriving.

We apologize for any inconvenience.
